What Teens Need To Hear From Us

Time and time again I hear the same kinds of things from youth, “My parents are always angry at me”, “They don’t trust me”, “They don’t listen to me”. It prompts me to wonder if parents know what their teens need to hear from them. I remember, as teen never hearing key messages from my parents. I wanted to know that they were proud of me, that they loved me, and that my opinion mattered.
